SpringSummer2011 sees the Second Season of Zanacco, the first socio eco-luxury shoe brand for men. Using eco-friendly luxury materials and limiting manufacturing exclusively to support local craftsmen from Italy, Zanacco achieved impeccable quality and sustainability.

At the heart of the Zanacco brand is the conviction that today, luxury needs to substantiate an authentic focus on the social conscience of the elite global consumer. Looking beyond eco-luxury, Zanacco shoes are handmade by time-honoured craftsmen from Vigevano, her hometown in Northern Italy only using products sourced from the region. Eco-friendly materials have been used in the process, such as vegetable tanned leather, water based glue and biodegradable oils.

Zanacco shoes are recognised by their signature midnight blue sole, featuring its ‘Truly Made in Italy’ stamp, promising authentic Italian footwear.  Set to be one of the first and leading designers of socio-eco luxury men’s shoes, Zanacco’s founder, Jasmine Zanacco, is reintroducing the true art of shoe making, offering classic shoes, boots and sneakers that are 100% Italian made.

The SS11 Collection will include Classic Derby, Oxfords shoes and Loafers, as well as a range of sophisticated Contemporary Sneakers, Military inspired Boots and Espadrilles.

The Classic Collection feature the signature midnight blue sole and attributed with the letter Z nailed to the heel. Vegetable tanned leather is used for the upper and the sole, along with wooden nails.

Zanacco Contemporary Sneakers are also made using natural products, including an eco sole made from biodegradable vegetable oils, an insole of cocos fibres mixed with natural latex, which as well as being kind to the environment, are also proven to have anti-bacterial properties.
